The third release in the SA singles series comes from London-based producer and composer HAMU.

'With Distance We Grew' is an introspective song, written in the midst of the pandemic. It's inspired by the fragility of human connections and friendships, in a time where distance can feel great and small all at once.

"The immediacy of conversation is gone when it is through a screen, emotions get lost when they are written down. The ebb and flow can become out of sync and people slowly drift apart. But sometimes the distance feels small and the immediacy of one another is somehow kept even whilst apart, growing together. It's these magical moments we can hold onto, a bright light in the dark to remind us of the beauty of human connections."
